Description

No 8 (White Cottage) and 8A Church Road is a cottage and former outbuilding. White Cottage dates from the 18th century and is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, which was heightened in the 19th century with brick and colourwashed. It has a slate roof and stands two storeys high, featuring two 19th-century sash windows on each floor; the ground floor windows have timber lintels. 8A appears to have been an outbuilding that has been converted for residential use. It is built of coursed limestone rubble with a pantile roof and is one storey tall, with two modern casement windows on the front elevation.
