Description

Poplar Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse with alterations from the 19th century. It is built with a timber frame and has rough cast rendering, set beneath a clay tile roof. The house is arranged in an L-shape and has one storey with attics. The south elevation features two gabled dormers, two-light casement windows, and a 20th-century central porch with a sloping tiled roof. Two gault brick ridge stacks are present. Decorative bargeboards adorn the gable ends and dormers. The rear block’s windows are also from the 20th century.
