Description

The Stables is a former stable building that has been converted into a house. It has origins dating back to the 17th century and is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with an old clay tile roof featuring some fish scale tiles. The building has multiple central stacks and flat coped gable ends, and it stands two storeys high with attics. Inside, there is a massive timber frame, but the building has been significantly modernised, including changes to doors and windows. It was originally part of the stables for the Old Rectory and is listed for its group value.
