Description
The Sun Inn is a 17th-century inn located on Felmersham Grange Road, constructed mainly of coursed limestone rubble with a thatched roof. The building has a three-part plan. The front wing features a two-room layout with integral gable end stacks and a central front door, rising to two storeys. The front windows were altered in the 19th century and now consist of two square oriel windows with sloping old clay tile heads on the ground floor, and two casements with glazing bars on the first floor. To the left, there is a single-storey wing that was originally a barn, which now has an asbestos tile roof, a brick stack, and one casement with glazing bars next to a buttress that flanks its door. The rear wing is two storeys tall and includes both casements and sash windows.
