Description

There are four Pratt memorials located about 5 metres south-east of the chancel of the Church of St Cassian. These chest tombs, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century, are made of sandstone ashlar and are arranged side by side.

The third tomb mirrors the first, with two square inscription panels on the south side. The left-hand panel states: "Sacred to the memory of Thomas Pratt gent of Dunclent who departed this [life] April 30th 1759 Aged 61 years." The right-hand panel reads: ".....to the memory [of] Ann Pratt his wife [who] departed this life January 19th 1779 Aged 7 [..] years."

The fourth tomb also resembles the first, with an inscription on the south side that says: "Sacred to the memory of Benjamin Pratt who departed this life May 24th 1794 aged 52 years. [Also] of Jane his w[ife] .......... this life February 28th 1826 ... ... ... her ...".
