Description
The Hop Pole Inn is a public house dating from the mid-18th century, with some alterations from the late 19th century and mid-20th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a hipped tile roof with rear stacks. The building has two storeys and is adorned with a dentilled brick cornice. There are two windows on the upper floor, both of which are 16-pane boxed sashes. On the ground floor, to the left is a 16-pane boxed sash window, and to the right is a 3-light casement window from the 20th century. Both ground floor windows are set beneath wedge lintels with keystones. The central entrance is framed by an eared moulded architrave with a pediment, and it includes an overlight and a half-glazed door.
