Description

16 and 17 Lichfield Street are a pair of houses built around 1800. They are constructed of brick and have concrete tiled roofs. Both houses are two stories high. No. 16 has a single unit plan with a round arched entrance to a passage on the left and a doorway on the right. No. 17 features a central doorway. Each house has fielded panelled doors set in pedimented cases with shouldered architraves and beading. The windows have been renewed but remain in their original openings, featuring fine gauged brick heads with keystones. There are blind windows above the doorways, and both houses have gable end stacks.
