Description
The Dovecote, located about 20 metres south of Wolverley House, is a mid-18th century structure that has been converted into a house, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. It stands two storeys tall with an attic, which is illuminated by circular windows set in shaped gables that feature finials. The building has a dentilled brick cornice. On the first floor, there are semi-circular headed windows with top-hung 20th century casements on either side, flanked by two blind circular windows. The ground floor displays a blind arcade with a semi-elliptical central recess, which is flanked by two smaller semi-circular headed recesses. The entrance on the west front features a 20th century panelled door, flanked by two fixed casements.
