Description

This dovecote, located about 150 metres west of Brockencote Hall, dates back to the 17th century and has some alterations from the late 19th century. It features a timber-frame structure with brick infill set on a sandstone plinth, topped with a pyramidal tile roof that is surmounted by a glover. The east front has an entrance in the left-hand corner with a pointed head and a dormer window above. The glover is topped with an octagonal cupola. The framing consists of three square panels high, supported by straight angle braces. Brockencote Hall is not included in this listing.
