Description

Nos. 1-4 Park Flats is a house, later converted into four flats, dating from the late 18th century with early 19th-century and some late 20th-century alterations. The building is constructed of brick with a hipped slate roof. It has three storeys and six windows. The windows are glazing bar sashes, with plastered wedge lintels and stone sills. The second floor windows have nine panes, while the ground floor has an early 19th-century addition across four windows. This addition features a moulded stone cornice and flat roof, including a tripartite bow window and a four-pane sash window. A central entrance within the addition has a pilastered doorcase with consoles supporting an open pediment, a fanlight, and a half-glazed door. Two glazing bar sashes are located to the right of this addition. A dog-tooth brick cornice runs along the top of the building.
