Description

This barn, located about 10 metres north of The Meadows Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century and has some alterations from the mid-19th century. It features a timber-frame construction that is partially weatherboarded, with some brick infill set on a brick plinth, topped with a tile roof. The barn consists of three framed bays arranged in a north-west to south-east orientation, with a central threshing floor. The framing includes single rectangular panels that are high and supported by straight tension braces. The Meadows Farmhouse is not included in this listing.
