Description
The barn range and gate piers located to the west of Manor Farmhouse date from the late 18th century and earlier. The building features a stone front on the north end and west front, while the rear is constructed of red brick. Attached to the south end is a red brick section that includes fragments of timber-frame and a blue lias stone rear gabled projection. The roofs are covered with plain tiles. The north end gable is made of blue lias stone, topped with stone coping and a ball finial. The west front is two stories high, built of Cotswold stone, and includes three square openings on the upper level, a cart entrance with a cambered head, doors, and two windows on the ground floor. The south end features a two-story brick and timber section. At the northwest corner, there is a pair of rusticated stone gate piers leading to the farmyard, which have cornices and ball finials.
