Description
This is a crinkle-crankle wall that dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of red and yellow brick laid in stretcher bond, featuring partly-moulded brick coping that includes some blue brick. At the corner of the wall, there is a pointed-arched doorway with a moulded brick surround, stone jambs, and a plank door. There is also a similar blocked-in doorway on the south side. The west side has two buttresses and an additional vestigial doorway with piers. This boundary wall originally enclosed grounds that were entirely occupied by No. 78 Manor House Hotel, but it is now partly so.
