Description

This stable block, located about 100 yards north of Ombersley Court, was built around 1812 to 1814 by J Webb. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys and includes a plinth and a sill band beneath the first-floor windows. It forms an eight-bay quadrangle with glazing bar sash windows, featuring 6-pane windows on the first floor. The entrance elevation is marked by a round-headed archway with a pediment above, which occupies the central two bays. The sill band is interrupted to create imposts for the archway, and there are three ranges of glazing bar sashes on each side of the archway, also with 6-pane windows on the first floor.
