Description

Arden Cottage is a house dating from the 16th to 17th century, constructed with a timber frame and painted brick, with a south addition that is also painted. It features a modern plain tile roof and has a large external stack at the rear of the south range. The building is one storey with an attic. The north end has box framing with tension braces in the north end wall, and it includes one door and three casement windows. The south end is painted to imitate timber framing and has one triple casement window and a blocked door.
