Description

Childswickham House is a house built in 1698, with some parts rebuilt in the late 19th century. The ground floor is made of squared limestone, while the first floor features brick typical of the 19th century. The house has a hipped tile roof and is two storeys high with four bays. The ground floor has rebated and chamfered cross-windows, along with a stone drip course. The first floor includes casement windows that have a timber mullion and transom. The central doorway is framed by an architrave, and above it is a moulded cornice with a datestone that has scrolled sides and ball finials, inscribed with "16 MJ 98". There are end chimneys, with the left one capped with both brick and stone, and the right one capped with stone.
