Description

The Cross House is a house dating from 1711. It is constructed of squared limestone with a stone slate roof. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and has three bays. It features sash windows with glazing bars, and a drip course above the ground-floor windows. Two attic dormers contain casement windows. The central window on the ground floor is positioned within a blocked doorway that has a cyma-moulded surround; above this is a plaque inscribed "TPE 1711". The gables are coped and have chimneys. The interior was inaccessible at the time of resurvey in December 1986.
