Description

The gate piers located approximately 3 metres west of Austin House, along with their attached railings, date from the 18th century. They are constructed from limestone ashlar and iron. Each gate pier has a square plan and features two raised and fielded panels on the west side, a frieze, a moulded cornice, and a ball finial on top. The iron railings on the north and south sides are adorned with cast iron finials. Additionally, the railings return on the north side to enclose the garden.
