Description
The Raven Hotel is a building that dates from the late 16th century and features a timber frame with plaster. It has two storeys and attics, with four late 18th-century windows located both above and below. There is a late 18th-century moulded wood pediment over an altered porch, which has later curved baluster-like shafts. The building has three large gables, each adorned with modern bargeboards and finials, and each gable contains a late 18th-century Gothic two-light casement window. To the left, there is a wing that is one storey with attics, featuring two 18th-century windows and two additional windows above that break the eaves and have gabled heads. The roof is covered with modern pantiles, and there are brick stacks present.
