The house has three storeys and is gabled, constructed with timber framing and plaster, and has tiled roofs. The upper storeys overhang at the first and second floor levels on all sides. The west front displays three gables and includes a semi-octagonal gabled turret that intersects with the central and southern gables. There are two three-shaft chimney stacks. The building has some 19th century and modern casement windows, as well as an 18th century or early 19th century oriel bay featuring Gothic glazing bars, along with some sash windows with glazing bars dating from around 1800.
