Description
The Tower is a 19th-century folly tower that stands in four stages. It has a square shape with a round staircase turret projecting from the south side. The structure is built of yellow brick, featuring dressings of red brick and stone. Some of the windows are designed as arrow slits, while others are lancet windows with either pointed or flat gauged brick arches. A large modern louvred window has been added to the top stage. The third stage is decorated with bands of diagonal red brick, and the fourth stage of the turret is entirely made of this material. The top stage is corbelled out on two sides. There is also a modern one-storey extension to the north. The Tower holds curiosity value.
