Description

The railings and lamp standards of Number 51, located on the west side of High Street, are a notable example of original wrought ironwork. They feature a good design with a return on either side and at the sides of the steps leading to the entrance. The railings also incorporate a pair of lamp standards. At the time of the survey in 1976, they were noted to be in need of repair. This structure, along with Nos 45 to 51 and Nos 55 to 69, forms a cohesive group of architectural significance.
