Description

This is an early 19th-century building on the west side of High Street. It is constructed of painted stucco, with the ground storey rusticated. The building is three storeys high and originally featured three sash windows with moulded architraves and blind balustrades below; a band runs across the facade. The roof is slate. Modern shop fronts have been inserted into Nos. 45 and 47. Nos. 45 to 51 (odd), along with the railings and lamp standards of No. 51 and Nos. 55 to 69 (odd), form a group. The group value stems from their cohesive appearance.
