Description
1-3 Rose Terrace is a terrace of three houses built around 1800 to 1820, with some later alterations. The houses are constructed of reddish-brown brick in Flemish bond and feature a plain tile roof, along with brick party-wall stacks that have oversailing courses and pots.
The terrace stands three storeys high and has a total of four first-floor windows arranged in a pattern of 1:1:1:2. The first-floor windows are 6/6 sashes set in plain reveals with sills, while the second floor has 3/3 sashes also in plain reveals with sills. The ground floor features a mix of 6/6 and 2/2 sashes, all in plain reveals and with sills. Most of the ground and first-floor windows have flat arches made of gauged brick.
Each house has an entrance on the right side, consisting of a four-panel door with an overlight, framed by architraves and topped with hoods supported by corbels. The terrace is finished with a modillion eaves band. The interiors have not been inspected.
