Description

CASTLEMORTON CP GOLDEN VALLEY SO 73 NE Holly Bush 4/177 Humble Bee Hall GV II

House. Late C17/early C18. Timber-framed with colourwashed wattle and daub and brick infill and plain-tile roof with massive projecting brick rear lateral stack. 2-unit plan. Single storey and attic. To right the door with gabled hood and 6-pane window to its left. Projecting lean-tos to centre and left that to centre with plain-tile roof and 2 small windows and door, that to left with corrugated iron roof. Square panel framing visible to right, 3 panels high. On right end a 6-pane window with 2-light casement over and square panel framing. Left end similar with 2-light casements. The rear has framing, two 2-light casements, a single-light casement, the massive stack and a 2-light flat-roofed doormer. Interior: open fire- place now blocked, the bressumer said to have gone. Spine beams with ogee stops. Plank doors. Queen-post roof.
