Description
Humble Bee Hall is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is timber-framed with colourwashed wattle and daub and brick infill, topped with a plain-tile roof and a large projecting brick stack at the rear. The building has a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic.
On the right side, there is a door with a gabled hood, accompanied by a 6-pane window to its left. There are projecting lean-tos at the centre and left; the centre lean-to has a plain-tile roof with two small windows and a door, while the left lean-to features a corrugated iron roof. The right side displays square panel framing that is three panels high, with a 6-pane window and a 2-light casement above it. The left end has similar features with 2-light casements.
At the rear, the framing is visible, along with two 2-light casements, a single-light casement, the large stack, and a flat-roofed dormer with 2-light windows. Inside, there is a blocked open fireplace, with the bressumer reportedly missing. The interior also features spine beams with ogee stops, plank doors, and a queen-post roof.
