Description

The Webb memorial is a chest tomb located about 28 yards south-west of the west tower of the Church of St Martin. It dates from the early 19th century and is built of ashlar in a Gothic style. The tomb features a moulded plinth and cornice, ridge capping, and corner piers adorned with cusped lancet panels. There are inscription panels framed by simple moulded surrounds, commemorating Peter Webb, who died at an unknown date, and Mary Webb, who died in 1821.
