Description

The Webb Tomb, located approximately 11 metres south of the tower of the Church of the Holy Trinity, is a chest tomb dating from 1831. It is constructed of ashlar and features a moulded base and top, fluted corners, and two panels on each side. The tomb was formerly surrounded by a railing. It is inscribed with a dedication to Caroline, the widow of William Butler Webb, who passed away on September 16, 1831, at the age of 81 years.
