Description

The Webb monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 10 metres south west of the Church of St. Andrew. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded edge and a high moulded plinth. It has plain quarter balusters and inscription panels on the north and south sides, each with an oval incised on a rectangle and carved spandrels. The monument commemorates William Webb, who died in 1781, along with other members of the family.
