Description

Poolhouse Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse, possibly incorporating an earlier structure. It is built of red brick and features a coursed square rubble cellar on the right. The roof is plain tiled with coped raised verges and has an off-centre brick stack. The building has two storeys and a garret, with three bays plus an additional bay from a later 19th-century extension on the left. The windows include a mixture of glazing bar sash windows and 20th-century casements; the ground floor windows on the right have segmental heads. There is a plain band and a later 19th-century door and porch located to the left of centre.
