Description
The stables, located approximately 100 metres south of Madresfield Court, date from around 1800 and feature later 19th-century additions. Constructed from brick with tile roofs, the building is arranged around three sides of a courtyard, open on the west side. It stands two storeys tall. The north and east walls, which face outward, showcase Gothick openings and a storey band. The windows have pointed heads, leaded glazing, and a central timber mullion that branches to form Y-tracery. The north wall includes four windows on the ground floor, five on the first floor, and two pointed doorways on the left with studded doors. The east wall has seven ground floor windows, with a pointed doorway on each side of the central window. The first floor features flat-headed windows within the two outer gables. The wing on the south side of the courtyard appears to be a later 19th-century addition.
