Description

Cobwebs is a house dating from around 1700. It is timber-framed and has a tile roof. The building features three rows of square panels, with some repairs to the timbers. It has one storey with an attic. The windows are 20th-century casements with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two windows, with two narrower windows on either side of the doorway. The attic is illuminated by three gabled dormers. Above the door, there is a tiled canopy supported by timber brackets. The roof is adorned with bands of fish-scale tiles and has gable chimneys. The right-hand gable truss includes vertical struts between the tie-beam and collar.
