Description
Skallard's Orchard is a house dating from the late 17th century. It features a combination of timber-framing and brick, topped with a tile roof. The building is framed in irregular square panels and consists of one storey with an attic. There are five windows on the ground floor, with the left-hand window situated within a brick addition. The house has three dormer windows in the attic, with their sills positioned below the eaves level. There are doors located to the right of the second and third bays. A chimney is positioned behind the ridge to the left of the middle dormer. The right-hand gable truss, likely from the 19th century, includes two raking struts and a king-post that is interrupted by an attic window.
