Description
Rectory House and The Old Rectory are two houses dating from the late 18th century, with possible earlier elements. They are constructed of stucco and have a tile roof. The buildings are two storeys high and consist of five bays, featuring a cornice and blocking course. The windows have segmental heads and are sashed with glazing bars. The central bay contains a door that is sheltered by a Tuscan porch, which is accessed by stone steps. There are chimneys on both the left and right sides. To the right, there is a wing made of painted brick; the left part of this wing is three storeys tall and has one irregular bay, while the right part has two bays, with the left bay containing two small windows on each floor and a door situated between the bays. The interior has not been fully inspected, but the main entrance hall includes a staircase with an open string and three slim turned balusters on each tread.
