Description
Daybrook House is a house built in the early 18th century, with alterations made in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick in English garden wall bond and features a tile roof. The building has two storeys and an attic. The windows are designed with timber mullions and transoms, and they have segmental heads. Above the two main bays, there is a small window with a segmental head located above a gabled open porch. The house includes three gabled attic dormers and has chimneys on the left side and on the rear wall towards the right. To the left, there is a lower two-storey bay that features casement windows and a door to the left. The right-hand gable wall, facing north-east, has been rebuilt and contains windows of late 18th-century style. This wall has two bays with sashed windows that have glazing bars, gauged brick heads with keystones, and sunken panels. An attic window also has a segmental head. Two lead fire insurance plaques are attached to this wall.
