Description
A terrace of six houses with shops, built around the middle of the 19th century. The houses are faced with stucco, and the roof is hidden behind a parapet. Chimneys are rendered. The terrace is three storeys high with an attic. The front of the terrace is symmetrical, with six bays. The first and second floors have four-pane sash windows set within moulded stucco architraves. A plaque inscribed "Belle Vue Terrace" is located on the first floor to the right. The ground floor has three shop fronts, each with fascias featuring modillion cornices and consoles. Number 12 has an early 20th-century shop front with curved glass and a doorcase featuring a curved pediment. Number 14 has a 20th-century recessed shop front, and number 18 has a shop front dating from around the late 19th century. A doorway is located between numbers 14 and 18, and a carriageway is on the right-hand side. The interiors of the houses have not been inspected.
