Description
The White House is a house dating from around 1800, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped roof covered with Welsh slate, broad eaves, and large stacks on each side. The building has three storeys and a cellar, with three bays. The windows on the ground and first floors have cambered heads and consist of 12-pane sashes, while the second floor windows are 2-light casements. The central entrance is adorned with a moulded and gabled canopy supported by shaped brackets and fluted pilasters. The double doors have two lower raised and fielded panels and an upper glazed panel, with a panelled soffit and reveals. There is also a late 20th-century lean-to addition on the right side elevation.
