Description

This is an early 19th century row of red brick houses located on the west side of High Street in Upton-upon-Severn. The building comprises four storeys and has a four-window front. The roofs have a low pitch and are covered with a mix of slate and plain tiles. A large brick stack is situated between numbers 8 and 10. The building features a brick dentil cornice. The windows are glazing bar sash windows with gauged brick heads. Number 4 is painted, and a small early 19th century bow window is on the north side. Number 6 has a fine 32-pane bowed shop window. Shopfronts from the 19th century are present at numbers 4, 8 and 10; number 4 has a central door flanked by panelled piers, while number 10 has flanking doors and a two-light central window with decorated spandrels.
