Description

This is a row of three houses dating to the early 18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and mid-20th century. The houses are constructed of handmade brick, with some areas rendered and a plain tiled roof. They have gable-end parapets, kneelers and a brick ridge stack located at the north end and to the right of centre.

The houses have a chamfered plinth and a two-course band at first floor level. The facade is irregular, with four bays. The ground floor includes three 3-light windows from the 19th century, featuring cambered heads. One window is inserted into a previously blocked opening with a cambered head, and there is also a small rectangular window and a 2-light window, also with a cambered head. The first floor has four 2-light windows, again with cambered heads. There are three doorways, each with a flat canopy supported by shaped brackets and partly glazed doors from the 20th century. The doorway to number 12 has a moulded architrave and a semi-circular relieving arch. An attic window is located at the south end.
