Description

This medieval cross, located about 5 metres south of the south porch of the Church of St Laurence, is likely from the 15th century and has undergone some repairs in the late 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a square plan with one step. The base has a chamfered plinth that supports an octagonal socket stone, which has broach stops at the corners. The bottom of an octagonal cross shaft, also with broach stops, is set into this socket stone.
