Description

The Firs is an early 19th-century farmhouse that has undergone some alterations in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof with gable-end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a dentilled brick cornice and stone coped verges. There are three windows on the upper floor, which are 16-pane sashes with stepped voussoir heads. The central entrance on the ground floor has an open pedimented doorcase, supported by engaged Doric columns, and includes a fanlight above a panelled door.
