Description
Nos 126 to 130 on High Street date from around 1870 and consist of a composition of three buildings. The central building has three storeys and an attic, while Nos 126 and 130 are two storeys with attics and have recessed wings behind No 130. The buildings are constructed of red brick with yellow brick diaper-patterned inlay. They feature three gables with wooden bargeboards that are intricately fretted, displaying trefoil or quatrefoil patterns, along with pendants and finials, although the finial on No 126 is missing. The roofs are filed with brick stacks. Each attic storey has one stone arrow-lit window. No 128 includes a second-floor casement with stone dressings and a first-floor four-light mullioned and transomed oriel window. Nos 126 and 130 each have one mullioned and transomed window with stone dressings. The buildings have modern shop fronts.
