Description

No 89 on High Street is a late 17th-century building constructed of red brick with stone dressings. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring two windows with two-light mullion oak frames and metal casements. The building is adorned with stone quoins, keyblocks, a band, and moulded eaves. A carved stone tablet dated 1699 is prominently displayed. The roof is covered with new tiles, and there are two heavy pedimented dormers. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 85, the building at the rear of No 85, Nos 87, 87A, and Nos 89 to 95 (odd).
