Description
Folly Tower, located about 150 yards south of Clent Grove, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of handmade brick with stone dressings and features twin round towers connected by a lower central section. The structure stands three storeys high and has a corbel table along with embattled parapets. The window openings are framed with stone architraves. The towers have pointed-arched windows on the front and sides, quatrefoil windows at the first floor level, and windows shaped like Maltese crosses above. The linking section includes a pointed archway on the ground floor and a pointed window on the first floor. This folly tower shares a similar design with the one at Castle Bourne, Bell End, Belbroughton.
