Description
The Old Engine House is a pump house that has been converted into a night club. It was built in the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. The structure is made of brick and features a slate roof. The east front of the building has three storeys, with stone coped verges at the gable. There are segmentally-headed casements on the first and second floors, while the ground floor includes a 20th-century brick gabled porch. A lower range of the building extends towards the canal. This building is prominently located at the summit of the Tardebigge Flight.
