Description
The terrace wall and garden bridge located to the east of Wightwick Manor were built around 1900. Constructed from ashlar and timber, the terrace is approximately 27 meters long and features semi-circular steps with flanking urns at the west end, leading to the bridge at the east end. The bridge is a replica of the Mathematical Bridge from 1749 at Queen's College, Cambridge. It is made from straight lengths of timber, using nails instead of the original wooden pegs, and has iron tie bars underneath.
