Description
The wall and gatepier located to the northeast of the Church of St Peter in Wolverhampton is a Grade II listed structure. The wall extends approximately 37 meters along the eastern side of the churchyard, starting from the gatepier at the northern angle and reaching about the entrance to the Art Gallery. This early 19th-century wall is constructed of ashlar and features a low profile with chamfered coping. The gatepier, dating from the early 20th century, is battered and topped with ball finials, although the gate itself is missing. This structure is included in the listing for its group value with the church and surrounding buildings.
