Description

The war memorial, built around 1922, is located in Bradford Place, Walsall. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and has a rectangular shape with battered sides. The plinth features inscriptions of the names of the deceased. Just below the cornice and above a decorative band, there is an anchor carved within a wreath, which is further enclosed by a swag. At the top, the memorial is crowned with a sarcophagus draped with a flag. The entire structure is surrounded by a retaining wall.
