Description
681 and 683 Warwick Road are 18th century buildings that were altered in the early 19th century. They are finished in colour-washed roughcast with ashlar quoins and feature a corbelled brick cornice. The buildings have a hipped roof covered with both old and machine-made tiles, and there are four hipped sash dormers. They are two storeys tall with attics and have sash windows with glazing bars. No 681 has a pair of two-storey canted bay windows, a central door, and an oblong fanlight with glazing bars set in a panelled reveal, surrounded by an architrave, frieze, and cornice on consoles. No 683 has a similar doorway. The back elevation features gables. Nos 681 to 685 (odd) and No 685A form a group.
