Description

The Malt Shovel Inn is a 17th-century building located on the south-west side of Solihull High Street. It features a timber frame that is roughcast and colour washed, topped with a machine-tiled roof. The inn stands two storeys tall and originally had three storeys. The ground floor includes two early 19th-century canted bay windows, while the first floor has three casement windows. There is a carriageway on the right side of the building. The Malt Shovel Inn is part of a group that includes Nos 116 to 120 (even), 124, 126, 130, 134, 138, 140, 142, and 144.
