Description

This is an 18th-century cottage located on the north side of Church Lane, adjoining the Village Stores to the east. The cottage is constructed of colour-washed brick and features a tiled roof. It is a single storey with two casement windows on the right and a segmental bow window on the left, all of which have glazing bars. There is a central doorway that is topped with a hood. This building is included for its group value, as it is part of a collection that also includes the Post Office, Village Stores, a house adjoining the Village Stores to the west, a house next to the Village School, and the Village School itself.
